What's On in our RegionHardly a month goes by without a bright, colourful event or festival on the Fraser Coast! From annual events like the Maryborough Masters Games in October and the magnificent Whale Festival in Hervey Bay during August, to one-off spectaculars like the 2006 World Field Archery Championships, there is almost always a main event on the Fraser Coast. There is a constant calendar of garden shows, art exhibitions, craft shows, river festivals, charity events, markets, sporting events and leisure expos. Other highlights include annual seafood festivals in Hervey Bay and Tin Can Bay, picnic races at Torbanlea, and a spectacular multicultural festival in Childers. Not forgetting monthly events such as the Ghostly Tours and Tales of The Port Of Maryborough and the Sunday In The Park activities in Maryborough.
