Self Drive

Maryborough is just 3 hours drive (255km) north of Brisbane along the Bruce Highway. Hervey Bay is a further 34km northeast via Maryborough. Childers is 60 kilometers north of Maryborough on the Bruce Highway. Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach can be accessed via Gympie or Maryborough.

By Air

Jetstar and Virgin Blue operate direct jet services from Sydney to the Fraser Coast, with convenient connections from most Australian capital cities. QantasLink has several daily flights from Brisbane to Hervey Bay.

By Rail

Queensland Rail operates regular services from Brisbane, Rockhampton and Cairns into Maryborough West. Transfers to Hervey Bay can be included via the Trainlink bus service, which connects with every train. The Tilt Train will also stop at the Howard for pre-booked passengers.

By Coach

Greyhound Australia and Premier Motor Services operate several services each day through Maryborough, Hervey Bay and Childers from Cairns and Agnes Water and everywhere in between.

Greyhound Australia and Suntours Express operates daily services direct from Brisbane with some pick ups at Brisbane Airport. Suntours, Greyhound and Premier also operate daily services from the Sunshine Coast with Suntours also offering a pick up from Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast) Airport. There are also pick ups at Noosa and Rainbow Beach on some services.
